Good day to you,

Over the past few months we have been working more closely with our security vendors to align key support for our network members, partners and associates and we are happy to announce that we have completed the negotiations for this new initiative to make it viable, feasible and successful for all.

Starting in January 2010, TITSSN will take full responsibility for providing free or deeply discounted pricing for all vendor member security products within the network for its members. That’s right, you heard it correctly, we’re giving you free full versions of our vendor’s security solutions to secure and protect your systems. Not only are we providing the solutions, we are also providing the documentation for installing, configuring and using them. We know of the challenges being faced with these solutions where system resources are used up thus making the systems appear to be slow and so we’re going to support those issues for you as well. Our goal is to properly secure every members PCs so they can be safer and more secure on and offline no matter where they are.

Forget about license renewals and licensing issues, we will take care of all those for you and leave you to continue enjoying the secure benefits and use of your systems without these minor interruptions. There are certain restrictions to this offer as we are seeing people joining up and not actively participating in the network activities and developments. We will not be simply giving these solutions away to any signed up account, we will review the account and offer the solutions accordingly.

This offer is limited to home users only. We are working on a business version of this initiative that will provide much deeper volume discounts for the business. This is in the works and will be announced soon.

More details to come as we put this into effect and set all the parameters in place.

Thank you very much and have a great day. We apprecilove your business and support and look forward to serving you more.

Good day to you,

On behalf of TITSSN I would like to say a warm, heartfelt and thankful Thanksgiving best wishes to all our American members, partners, associates, friends and customers. We hope that you will make the best of the day and be safe, stay secure and always be on alert for physical and/or cyber attacks during this time.

During this holiday season you will see a high increase in online phishing attacks and fake messages purporting to be security solutions. Please be very vigilant in your online shopping and email etiquette as the threats can and will come from known sources which is very much more serious than unknown sources. When visiting websites for shopping or viewing those family pics that “someone” may send you, please be cautious and looks for signs of abnormality.

If you receive a message from someone saying they posted pics of you or a family get together on a site for you to look at, reach out and ask if they did indeed send the message so you can verify that the intent was really from them.

Again, be safe and keep a keen eye out for any signs of suspicious activities when viewing websites.

Thank you and have a great day,

~Brett A. Scudder~

Good day to you,

As a technology/IT Security services provider we are always striving to attain the highest levels of professional services, training, support and value for our members and in doing so, at times add additional incentives to the process(es). Our membership hosts some of the finest service providers in their various areas of business and services, and we are always finding ways of bringing the people who needs the services together with the people who deliver on them.

TITSSN is launching this new initiative to allow approved service providers to handle incident and service requests within the Social Network and be compensated for them. This new model will allow more people coming to our network for help and support to get the quality needed to enhance their business or personal needs. There are certain qualifications and restrictions as we must ensure that the proper understanding of what is being supported and offered is of the professional levels of quality and service. There are certain free services that will be offered of which will be documented and made publicly known.

Over the years we have built good relationships with our member service providers and in doing so, we have gotten to know them personally and professionally. These relationships have built trust and a common goal where we are all striving for the quality of services and support for our customers and clients. It is also a means of bringing the network together so that we can all build on the various areas of expertise and skillsets needed for securing tomorrow’s systems today. We have seen their business model, seen and heard their professional response, seen their hands-on skillset in effect, provided the needed training and education of/on specific vendor products and solutions and have collaborated with them across numerous projects. It is this level of value that will allow us to create the perfect working model for this initiative as we are able to identify key people with the needed professional abilities, skillset and ethics to represent our organization in supporting our Social Network community.

Services and support will range from,

Hardware sales, services and support
Software sales, services, implementation, support and training
Hands-on technical support on and offsite/offline
Technical training for your family, employees/staff and members
Specialized and customized training on specific vendor products/solutions
Knowledge transfer and relationship building
Web Infrastructure implementation, configuration and hosting (blogs, forums, websites, ecommerce)

Our services and support model doesn’t omit any one or any size organization or company, we support any and everyone with their technology and IT Security needs. All are invited to join our network and seek out the services and support that are provided.

Our Social Network is located at http://titssn.org

We hope that by providing this service that it will attract more members who are seeking these services or wanting to provide the services and support that is being put forward. If interested please feel free to contact us for more details by emailing our Secure Relations Team. We apprecilove your business and support and look forward to serving you more.

Thank you very much and have a great day.

Ladies and gentlemen,

It is complete and I simply LOVE IT :-) .

The Twitter integration is even better than using the website or most Twitter apps I have see/used. Please activate your Twitter accounts from My Apps and just fill in your Twitter username and password and watch the beauty unfold. You don’t need to do anything else than just configure and allow the app. We will have screenshots and the How-to-guide of the process shortly.

Please start testing it so we can get some feedback and input from you. Let the Tweeting begin.

Here are some screenshots of the app.

Enjoy.

Good day to you,

Over the years we have been working with a number of security vendors, professionals and experts and have collaborated and networked with them on many occasions for various reasons. We are taking this partnership/alliance to another level and will be aligning interviews and some one-on-one time with them to talk about their business, jobs, roles and the ways in which they impact or are impacted by the technology infrastructure of today. This is now coming into play quite nicely and will be conducted through our social network.

This will allow us to get a sense of their feelings, input and directives from them or their companies so we can be better able to understand and relate to/with them.

We are aligning these interviews of which some will be in person and some over the wire/air but we will do the best we can to bring you the quality and value. We are looking forward to this and will be archiving the interviews here in our network.

Our network builds value and quality out of its partnership, membership and alliances and in so doing tries to find ways in which we can elevate the quality of life and exposure for all members. It is through the support of our partners, members, associates and friends we will continue to excel in all that we do and are about. We look forward to the continued support as we move forward.

Stay tuned and have a great day,

~Brett A. Scudder~

Good day to you,

I would like to say a special thank you to all participating vendors and members of our October ENGAGED promotion. We didn’t get the kind of support expected but we gathered some well needed visibility. The next ENGAGED promotion will run in January and will be twice as good as this one. We hope that by then we will have an increase in active members.

Stay tuned for some upcoming giveaways and specials for the month of November.

Again, thank you all and have a great day,

Good day to you,

So it is here, finally and it is simply awesome. I must say that I am truly impressed by it and it couldn’t have come at a better time we are getting into the holiday seasons. There are so many promotions, ads and goodies floating round about the OS that it will become inundating to those who are very knowledgeable or aware of it and I can see an increase in fake copies, scams and other misleading issues.

So, let’s take a serious early look at this so that you can be prepared to deal with this new OS because I know you want it.

  • Be sure to understand that you will lose settings and configuration if upgrading. You most likely have a system with an OS installed already so you have one of two choices. You either upgrade what you have to Win7 or you do a clean install which means wiping everything and having a brand new pristine install. The latter of course will require some technical knowledge to accomplish but will give a much cleaner, smoother and better experience after completion.
  • Immediately after installing/upgrading to Windows 7, go to the Microsoft Updates site and grab all the high, critical and software updates. This must be done before doing anything else. Applying any new updates and patches is critical to the baseline security of the OS.
  • Immediately after patching, check with your anti-virus vendor for support of Windows 7. You must not run the OS without proper anti-virus and anti-malware protection. Be sure the product says supports Windows 7 or you may run into problems or have some limitations. Remember that having the anti-virus solution isn’t everything, proper configuration of scheduling, scanning and remediation is also critical. This will require some technical knowledge of the solution and is worth consulting with someone on the technical side. This could be a friend, relative or someone you may know who is an IT professional.
  • Be sure to check that you have enough system resources to support the OS. A good video card with 256MB of RAM minimum, 1GB of RAM and 40GB or hard drive space. Many times users install an OS and complain about performance issues and this is because they don’t have enough resources to manage or run it. Check your resources, this is very important to the functioning and operations of the OS and system.
  • Check in with your application developers for updated versions that support Windows 7. Whatever applications you’re running, check the developer for support/compatibility. This should be done prior to even doing the install/upgrade as once done you can’t go back. If running current or older versions of applications, check to make sure you’re running the latest build/version that addresses any open security issues.
  • Check in with your hardware vendors for updates firmware, drivers and other fixes for the hardware inside your PC.

Please stay away from free online offers of anti-virus and/or other security related products from unknown or untrusted sources as we’re seeing an increase in the availability of fake/rogue solutions being offered that seriously messes things up. Consult with a security advisor before making any decision to purchase security software for your Windows 7 build.

Now that you have this lovely new OS and is dying to start playing around with it, it would be prudent to take a look at the new features as there are quite a few and will take some learning and getting used to. The wording and placement of some options have changed. The most critical part to the successful user experience of security of this new system relies solely on your ability to use it and how educated and aware you are of the threats landscape today. Not because you have anti-virus/anti-malware solution installed doesn’t mean you will not be exposed or possibly infected unless you do your due diligence and best practices for safe browsing and messaging. Always keep in mind that you are the first line of attack and defense for your system(s) and it is how you choose to protect and defend it will lead to the success or failure.

We have opened our social network Microsoft Windows 7/Win7 Technical Support and Services Group to help with the adoption and security of the OS. Our IT Professionals will be happy to help.

We will continue to share best practices and guidelines as the new OS makes its way into mainstream society. If you’re deciding to go to this OS we advise an open dialog with someone on it before proceeding so the mentioned items can be properly explained and understood.

Thank you and have a great day,

~Brett A. Scudder~

Good day to you,

Our ENGAGED promotion is underway and there are open questions on the site for you to participate in. They are tagged with the ENGAGED label at the beginning of the subject line and the body provide the info of what will be the reward for the best answer. Our executive’s team and select partners are allowed to ask and reward questions for this promotion. Anyone wishing to ask a question can do so in general but without the tag or need to give a reward.

I noticed that no one has attempted to participate in the ENGAGED questions and was wondering why. They are open so please start working on them. Time is going. We hard stop on October 31st and the winners will receive their prizes. Not yet a member, join us here http://titssn.org/signup.php.

Let’s get ENGAGED and start working on these questions. As you can see, they are provided to open your minds to think and learn of these things with the intention that it will help to generate a higher sense of education, understanding and awareness. We are looking for articulate answers and not just a Google/Bing/Yahoo search cut and paste. We will review the answers and choose based on the info, structure and value in regards to the question so take some time to construct your answers accordingly.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask any executive team our TITSSN staff members.

Hi all, check this out.

This is too funny. 11 people are waiting to signup on the social network as the 100th member for the $50 gift certificate :-)

Isn’t that something lol

I received word from a few people saying, yes, I did receive your invite or email and I will sign up shortly. By the way, what number is the registration at now?
Are you close to the 100 yet?

Then it dawned on me, I remembered the $50 for the 100th member.
So let’s see which one will be our 100th member.

The funny thing is, I don’t know how they will know they are the 100th :-)

Have a great day and a please signup because you see the value in what we’re doing and providing.

Good day to you,

It is with great excitement that I officially announce the launch of our ENGAGED “ENabling Greater Awareness, Growth and Educational Development” October promotion for today October 15th. This is a significant launch for us as it signals a new level of commitment of how serious we are taking our work and initiatives in promoting the elevation of education, awareness and training for technology and IT Security. This will be a quarterly event that focuses on providing more attention, support and focus on these critical areas of our future. Over the next two weeks we will feature special activities within the network that will focus on technology and IT Security in general by adding some special giveaways and incentives to our participating members.

These activities will include special featured questions, forum and group discussions, polls and spur of the moment giveaways. These rewards are added to our Virtual Gifts and will be how the winners are rewarded. The more points you accumulate during the next two weeks will allow you to claim additional products and solutions that were made available by our participating vendors. We ask that you be prudent in choosing your prizes/gifts with the consideration in mind that because they are specific to securing your systems, you should not have two of the same type of solutions running at the same time. This will cause considerable system performance issues. Please feel free to seek our guidance with your choices. We are here to help.

We want to say a very special thank you to our participating vendors for this month and hope that you will continue to support the initiative. This month’s vendors list includes, Pearson Education – representing Cisco Press, Safend, Sunbelt Software, Symantec, SpectorSoft, ESET, PCTools and Kaspersky. As a thank you from the network, we will be providing a special page for your company and products in the network. This page will feature the product(s) that were provided for this month’s promotion. This is the least we can do in thanks for your contributions and we hope that you will continue to keep us apprised on the development of your products/solutions going forward.

So let’s get ENGAGED http://titssn.org/signup.php

Thank you very much and have a great day. We apprecilove your business and support and look forward to serving you more.

I am very happy to announce that Safend has confirmed participation on this month’s ENGAGED special promotion and will be adding their Auditor into the mix. This is so exciting and I can’t tell you how much I love the vendors support we’re getting.

I want to thank Mr. Ben Campbell who has been an avid supporter of the network and our vision and I do hope that he will continue to do so. Thank you sir and I look forward to sharing this awesome solution with our members.

For more information on the Safend Auditor please see here http://www.safend.com/63-en/Safend%20Auditor.aspx. Certain limitations will apply to this gift because of the nature of it and what environment it fits in. More details will be posted on it.

Good day to you,

Over the past few weeks we opened our network doors for all to see what was available in an effort to share the value and resources we have. We over extended the lock down date from October 1st to the 14th because of increased activity and requests for more information. Now we’re about to kick off our ENGAGED special promotional program on October 15th and we are locking down the network or privacy and security reason. You must be a member to see what is inside and be able to participate, benefit and enjoy what we are bringing to you.

So today being the last day we are prepping everything for tomorrow and getting all the key pieces aligned and working. We apprecilove the support and feedback we have received and they are being put to good use.

Thank you and have a great day,

Good day to you,

We added a MicroBlogging feature to our social network to enhance the personal experience of our members and getting the kind of “more personal” collaboration between them. This is available for all members and we ask that everyone activate their MicroBlog and allow followers. You should also check out the rest of the members that are of interest and follow them as well.

This is a feature like Twitter but internal to the network. I must say I find it very valuable for me as I have to constantly post updates and it allows the tracking of each and the threads that build on it.

So take a few minutes and check out the MicroBlog in your profile. Who knows, you may get followers.

Good day to you,

As a network that hosts various kinds/levels of local and online businesses, we are always striving to enhance the visibility of our membership resources to those in need of their services. It is for this reason that we created the business directory within our network so we could add the additional features needed for our members to add and promote their businesses and what they do best. We needed a way to allow the creation of these businesses with the direct interaction from the network in order for the full extent of our services to be seen and known.

Business owners can create a page about their business, services they offer, areas of specialty, contact information with the ability to have comments and feedback. This is an invaluable feature as it creates direct interaction between our members, the service providers and those on need of it.

As an added value to our local member business owners, we are offering special discounted pricing to them for their continued support of our group meetings, local events and the network. This fee is being waived as a special promotion for the month of October and you must get to it now. We hope this will be a valuable feature for our business entrepreneurs as we build on the vast and extensive resources of our network. As we continue to grow, so will the values and availability of this feature.

The business directory can be viewed here http://titssn.org/businesses.php.

Good day to you,

As an educational, training, services, support and advisory organization, we have always added a more personal and face-to-face element to our work and initiatives and we don’t see why our new home shouldn’t be the same. Communication is a critical part of our work and so we have made sure that we included the needed resources to offer these services within our network. The audio, video and text messaging services offer a new level of communication for our members to collaborate and address anything at anytime. No matter where you are, one can converse on any level needed with their friends, clients and associates.

Whether you’re networking with a member who is a client, customer, friend or someone new, you can extend the value of communicating through these additional resources with just the click of a button and still be active within the network. Personally I like seeing who I am talking/typing to/with and so I have a very nice high end webcam and microphone that I use for the audio and video pieces. This way you can have the visual effects and experience the digital qualities as well. This is integrated with the audio module which allows simultaneous audio and video collaboration for individuals or groups of people.

As we continue to grow and build on this great network, we will continue to enhance the value, resources and availability of additional collaboration resources for our members. Adding that personal touch to the network will allow more value to our members in building on the networking and collaboration. We are working on some new enhancements that will allow live streaming of our meetings, events, online presentations and training sessions and that will be an additional value for all.

So stay tuned, stay secure and be aware of these resources and the development of this great network of education, awareness, training and collaboration. We look forward to your input, feedback and support.

Thank you and have a great day,
